Sr. Credit Analysts


Join the Farm Credit of Florida team! With over 100 years of serving agriculture, the Farm Credit system is a nationwide network of cooperative lending institutions. We provide credit to farmers and ranchers, to name a few.  We are currently seeking experienced Credit Analysts who will be responsible for analyzing the financial condition and performance of applicants to determine their creditworthiness and the degree of risk involved in extending safe and sound credit.   Responsibilities also include clear written and verbal communication of findings and recommendation of the ultimate credit decision. The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced team environment.  

Job Duties:

  • Works independently to complete credit analyses with appropriate documentation and credit risk identification.

  • Ensures credit analyses contain adequate detail to clearly and concisely explain the credit request and financial information is adequately analyzed with identification of strengths and weaknesses.

  • Evaluates compliance with underwriting standards and makes recommendations with regard to constructive terms, controls and financial covenants, if warranted.

  • Demonstrates skillful use of Differential Analysis in determining documentation requirements and developing Loan Analyses Summaries.

  • Ability to present loan actions effectively to Loan Committee.

  • Works independently to complete credit analyses with appropriate documentation and credit risk identification.

  • Ensures timely credit package preparation and completion, considering loan complexity, within a reasonable timeframe and according to production goals.

  • Effectively communicates with Loan Officers and Borrowers, as necessary, to expedite completion of the credit analysis.



To qualify for this opportunity, candidates should have:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Agriculture.
  • Three to Five years of credit analysis experience.
  • Proven analytical ability for medium to high level complexity credits. Previous experience in agriculture or agricultural lending is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and basic accounting principles.
