Don Rice, CEO and President of Farm Credit of Florida, has 30 years of Farm Credit experience. He began his career working for the Farm Credit Administration (FCA) in 1981. He moved from FCA to work for the Farm Credit Federal Land Bank of New Orleans before joining AgFirst Farm Credit Bank in 1988. Don joined Farm Credit of South Florida in 1995, where he was the Association’s CEO and President up to the creation of Farm Credit of Florida.
Don was raised on a broiler, hog and cattle farm in Haleyville, Alabama. He earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural science from Auburn University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama.
